The Ministry of Road Transport & Highways in India has been taking great steps for better management of the vehicles on the road. Earlier, the government made FASTags compulsory in the country. If you have not yet purchased a FASTag for the vehicle, you can be penalised for the same. You can purchase FASTags online in India from the respective bank’s website. For example, you can buy Axis FASTag online from Axis Bank official portal. The government has also mandated the HSRPs or High-Security Registration Plate for all types of vehicles including two-wheelers and four-wheelers sold before 1 April 2019.
HSRPs are made compulsory in all the states of India. If you live in Uttar Pradesh and want to know more about the online registration process of HSRP Uttar Pradesh, then here’s the complete guide:

The fees for both HSRP and colour coded stickers may not be the same in every part of the nation. It varies from one state to another and also depends on the class and type of motor vehicle. For instance, the price of an HSRP for a two-wheeler is different from what it is for a four-wheeler. As per CMVR 1989 Act Rule Number 50, it is mandatory for all vehicles to have High-Security Number Plates including those sold before April 2019. This rule has to be followed in every state of the country. Those who do not abide by this rule are liable to pay fines. Hence, you must get an HSRP for your vehicle as soon as possible. Moreover, there are various advantages of HSRPs hence, purchasing the HSRPs is the right step for better transport management in the country.
